About This Project

Feldman House

Originally designed in 1953 by famed mid-century modern architect Gregory Ain, Core Development Group has expanded and updated the Feldman House while preserving the integrity of the original architecture and context upon which it resides. This exquisite modern estate offers 11,300 square feet of private serenity on just under an acre of wooded grounds up the street from the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The existing mid-century modern house was preserved and seamlessly expanded without destroying the integrity of the original design. The height and scale of the additions create a boundary that centralizes the original structure accentuating its dramatic roof and deep overhangs.  The use of clear fir windows and doors, carried over from the original design, the continuation of the sloped roof and ceilings, the inclusion of private outdoor spaces adjacent to all bedrooms and master bath, integration of technology and lighting without detracting from the architectural forms, all make the addition blend in with the original.
